It’s been about two months since Rep. Tulsi Gabbard spoke at a massive conference held for the families of 9/11 victims, where she demanded on their behalf that the US government release all of its classified documents detailing Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the vicious attacks. Still there has been no indication the US government will comply.
Well over 1,000 families of 9/11 victims are collectively suing the Saudi government for billions of dollars and say it’s crucial the documents are released to them for their case. Several US officials privy to many still classified documents have asserted they reveal how members of the Saudi Royal Family (the House of Saud) helped plan, fund, and execute the attacks on September 11th, 2001.
Yet the US Government, who considers Saudi Arabia a close ally, has actively done everything in its power for 18 years to cover up the kingdom’s role. Why?
Well, it could be because if they allow people to find out Saudi Arabia’s role in 9/11, it will open a can of worms that will change everything forever. It could show what many already suspect on good grounds to be true — that American senior officials with tight connections to the royal family had foreknowledge of the attacks, or at the very least, were complicit in the cover up and protection of Saudi officials who had foreknowledge. Either way, the US government, at the highest levels, through three administrations and counting, is complicit, and they are brazenly telling the world through their actions that they choose to protect Saudi Arabian royalty over their own citizens.
Saudi-9/11 Ties Already Known
Saudi Arabia has always denied any involvement in 9/11, but the facts speak for themselves.
To begin with, out of the nineteen hijackers who crashed airplanes into American targets that day, fifteen of them were Saudi Arabian. Some of them, we now know, were directly connected to the royal family, as we shall go over next.
A Saudi Prince in the Bush Family
In September 2019, after years of outcry, begging, and pleading, the FBI finally threw out a breadcrumb to the 9/11 families, and released to them the name of one Saudi government official who was directly connected to the funding, training, and placement in America of two of those hijackers — Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar — who are reported to have flown Flight 77 into the Pentagon.
[Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar] were mentioned in [a] 2012 FBI report, which referenced an unnamed third person who tasked them to help the two hijackers.–VOA News, Lawsuit by Relatives of 9/11 Victims Shakes Loose Name of Saudi ‘Mystery Man’, 18//11/19.
The FBI released the report in late 2016 in response to a Freedom of Information Act request by a news site, but kept the name of the third person redacted. The 9/11 families’ lawyers pressed for its release, and Attorney General William Barr consented, while invoking ‘state secrets’ privileges over much of the rest of the report.
Though the families’ lawyers haven’t disclosed the name to the public, Terry Strada, national chair of the 9/11 Families and Survivors United for Justice Against Terrorism, confirmed the release demonstrates ‘the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and their officials in an official capacity directing the actions of 9/11.’
Despite the families not releasing the name, we may already know it, because one thing is for sure in relation to those two Flight 77 hijackers. They were both living off monthly payments during their time in the US that came directly from Prince Bandar — of the Royal House of Saud — and his wife. This information was revealed in the 2016 declassification of the highly anticipated (and highly redacted) last ’28 pages’ of a 2002 congressional investigation into 9/11.
Prince Bandar…sent money to the wife of Osama Bassman. Bassman is suspected of having provided assistance to Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar…–Vanity Fair, Explosive Declassified Report Details Saudi Ties to 9/11, 7/15/16.
Bassman’s wife reportedly received a monthly stipend from Bandar’s wife of $2,000, and the F.B.I. found cashier’s checks totaling $74,000 in the couple’s residence. According to the document, Baseman also cashed a check from Bandar for $15,000.”
So who exactly is this Prince Bandar? Well, he was the man who stood smoking cigars on the White House balcony with George Bush two days after the attacks. He was Saudi ambassador to the US for a number of years, and was so close to the Bush family they famously referred to him as ‘Bandar Bush.’
Consider that again if it just slipped by you. I’ll reiterate. The Saudi royal who the Bush family, since the 80’s, has called Bandar Bush, stood smoking celebratory cigars on the White House balcony with the president two days after the 9/11 attacks — the attacks that have since been used to launch several American-led wars against Saudi Arabia’s enemy-states in the Middle East — and has been outed in official government documents to have been financing the hijackers that carried the attacks out. Read that again if the gravity of these implications still isn’t registering.
Bandar remains untouched since the attacks, despite the fact he’s been known by the intelligence community to have smuggled terrorists into the US himself. The ’28 pages’ also go over an ‘unnamed suspect’ — who was on a State Department’s terrorism watch list — that was ‘able to circumvent the Customs Service and the Immigration and Naturalizations Service because he was traveling with the Saudi prince.’
According to those same ’28 pages,’ when a Saudi Arabian named Abu Zubaida — a known jihadist and brutal torture victim of the US government — was arrested in Pakistan in 2002, authorities found direct lines to not only a guard at the American Saudi embassy in his contact book, but direct lines to the American home of — guess who — good old Bandar Bush.
The fact that this man, this ‘prince,’ can walk around with impunity should tell you all you need to know in order to start asking some serious questions, such as how and why he is being protected, and most importantly, what were Bush and Bandar celebrating on the White House balcony on September 13th, 2001? The hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars that have since been sunk into the military industrial complex and the destruction of Saudi-oil competitor nations might be good places to start hedging guesses.
A Saudi-Funded ‘Dry Run’ of the 9/11 Attacks
Also according to the congressional investigation’s highly censored ’28 pages,’ that very same Saudi embassy in Washington, DC, paid for a ‘dry run’ of the 9/11 hijackings in November 1999 — two years prior to the real ones.
After training at al Qaeda camps in Afghanistan, two undercover Saudi nationals — Mohammed al-Qudhaeein and Hamdan al-Shalawi — were placed in America. The Saudi embassy then paid for their tickets to board a flight from Phoenix to Washington to gather intel. Their specific mission was to test how easy it would be to gain access to the cockpit of a commercial airliner while it’s in flight. The pilots of the flight were so freaked out by their highly suspicious behavior that they emergency landed the plane in Ohio, where the two Saudis were arrested — and then quickly let go.
“After the Nov. 19, 1999, incident — which took place less than two months before the first hijackers entered the US — both Saudi men held posts as Saudi government employees at the Imam Muhammad Ibn Saudi Islamic University.”–Paul Sperry, New York Post, Saudi government allegedly funded a ‘dry run’ for 9/11, 9/9/17.
Is There Any Doubt?
Saudi Arabia’s ties to and funding of terrorist groups, such as al Qaeda and the Taliban, have been documented in official US reports since the early nineties — which you can verify by clicking here and accessing 109 pages of government reports on the matter — and their connections to the funding, planning, and executing of 9/11 is also, as we’ve just seen some startling examples of, well cataloged.
But there’s still a plethora of Saudi-9/11 documents the US government is withholding from not only public knowledge, but from the families of 9/11 victims who need them for their case against the Saudi government for the horrible murder of their loved ones; documents which we know will shed a much brighter light on just how deeply Saudi Arabia was connected to the attacks.
Moreover, the families need this information as a form of closure that only the truth as to what happened that day can bring. By withholding these documents — and redacting huge sections of the ones they’ve already begrudgingly released — the US government is proving, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that it cares more about protecting the Saudi Royal Family than its own citizens. Though when the situation is looked at logically, the covering up of 9/11 Saudi involvement by American officials closely connected to them suggests there’s more than just Saudi involvement being hidden here.
The Shameful Mr. Mueller
In September of 2019 the New York Post released an article by journalist Paul Sperry detailing the man that the families of 9/11 victims and their legal team deem as the prime assailant in the Saudi-9/11 cover up. That man is Robert Mueller.
Famous now for his fiscally over-bloated nothingburger of an investigation into alleged Trump-Russian collusion in the 2016 Presidential Election, Robert Mueller was the head of the FBI when the planes hit the towers in 2001.
It was under Mueller’s direction that Bush’s best buddy Prince Bandar was never contacted for questioning, even though FBI agents knew of his ties to at least two of the hijackers and a jihadist suspected of assisting in the planning of the attacks, as former agent John Guandolo confirmed when he stated that Bandar most definitely ‘should have been treated as a terrorist suspect,’ but was instead treated as an untouchable.
According to a signed affidavit, former FBI Agent Stephen Moore — in charge of a team tasked with locating any contacts of the 15 Saudi hijackers — stated that ‘diplomatic and intelligence personnel of Saudi Arabia knowingly provided material support to the two hijackers and facilitated the 9/11 plot.’ Despite this, him and his agents were personally blocked by Mueller from investigating any of their leads.
“He [Mueller] was the master when it came to covering up the kingdom’s role in 9/11.”
“In October of 2001, Mueller shut down the government’s investigation after only three weeks, and then took part in the Bush [administration’s] campaign to block, obfuscate and generally stop anything about Saudi Arabia from being released.”–“9/11 survivor Sharon Premoli, who was pulled from the rubble of the World Trade Center 18 years ago,” New York Post, 9/7/19.
Even more astonishing, Mueller’s FBI assisted Prince Bandar, at least one member of the bin Laden family, and several Saudi nationals in fleeing the US on a number of flights over the weeks following 9/11, some of these flights taking place a few days after the attacks, when every other plane in America was ordered to be grounded, as official documents obtained by Judicial Watch in 2005 revealed.
Judicial Watch quickly launched an investigation and in 2005 obtained shocking documents from the FBI detailing how well-connected Saudis, including relatives of Osama bin Laden, left the U.S. on specially chartered flights while most air traffic was still grounded. In all, 160 subjects of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including but not limited to members of the House of Saud and/or members of the bin Laden family fled the U.S. between September 11, 2001 and September 15, 2001.–“U.S. Cover-up of Saudi 9/11 Ties Probed, JW Has Secret Flight Docs,” Judicial Watch, 12/13/13.
Believe it or not, one of those flights, according to an entry in a September 2001 FBI report, was likely chartered by Osama bin Laden himself; and the damning evidence against Robert Mueller’s FBI doesn’t end there, either.
Former Joint Terrorism Task Force Agent Raymond Fournier recently exposed Mueller for intervening upon the arrest of known Saudi asset and al Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who agents nabbed at JFK airport in 2002. Mueller stepped in right away, releasing al-Awlaki to a ‘Saudi representative’ and closing all further investigations into him.
According to a 2017 Harper’s article citing former Senate Intelligence Committee chair Bob Graham as a source, while investigating 9/11, Michael Jacobson — a former FBI attorney and an investigator for the Joint Inquiry — got a lead on an Islamic FBI informant in San Diego who knew the Flight 77 hijackers — the ones funded by Prince Bandar.
After pouring through FBI documents that spelled out their connections to Saudi embassy officials — and their payments from Prince Bandar — Jacobson wanted to go out and interview this informant to see what he knew. Without sufficient reasoning, Mueller refused his requests, and when Jacobson and Graham slapped Mueller with a congressional subpoena, he took the informant and hid him in a ‘secret location’ where nobody could find him.
Several agents have come forward about many incidences just like these, where Robert Mueller personally blocked, interfered, or killed official investigations into Saudi-9/11 ties, and according to former Agent Stephen Moore — who briefed Mueller daily on these investigations — Mueller blatantly lied to congress when he was pressed about his knowledge on the subject.
‘He’s a villain, and an arrogant one to boot,’ former FBI Agent Mark Wauck said, adding that his former boss [Robert Mueller] has a long history of acting as a ‘servant of the deep state,’ or the permanent DC ruling class.’–New York Post, “Robert Mueller helped Saudi Arabia cover up its role in 9/11 attacks: suit,” 9/7/19.
Senior Bush and the bin Laden Family’s Front Row Seats to the Show
But now, let’s not be naive and fool ourselves into thinking Mueller was covering up the Saudi connections by his own accord. No matter how unjust or utterly immoral, he was simply doing his job, which was to administer to the bidding of those above him, namely, those in the Bush Administration.
After all, aside from Bandar being considered part of the family and a number of other Saudi princes and kings knowing what George Bush’s lips taste like, the Bush and bin Laden families also have a long history together.
The bin Laden’s, for those unaware, are Saudi mega-millionaires with close ties to the royal family. They made their fortunes through the oil industry, as did the Bushes. Before 9/11, the two families had already been in business together for decades.
Case in point, people from each family are members of the Carlyle Group investment firm. In fact, Osama bin Laden’s brother Shafiq was sitting in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in New York City with George H.W. Bush at the exact moment the Trade Centers were getting hit but blocks away. After the attacks, the bin Ladens and Saudis in attendance at that Carlyle Group meeting were among those whisked out of the country under the watch of FBI head Robert Mueller.
The fact is, whether people want to admit it or not, the American government, who used and still uses 9/11 to invade adversary countries of Saudi and American oil-interests, is heavily implicated in not just foreknowledge of the 9/11 attacks, but the cover up afterwards, which is still ongoing today, despite America having gone through three different administrations since the events who could have taken decisive action, but instead remained complicitly loyal to the tyrants responsible for the deaths of nearly 3,000 innocent Americans who did nothing wrong other than showing up to work that day. Simply put, the US government is guilty.
That’s the reason the Saudi investigations were blocked, and that’s the reason the Saudi-9/11 documents are still being kept secret to this day.
